Join Ball State PBS for a special red-carpet premiere of Now Entering… Knightstown — Ball State PBS’s newest installment in our documentary series that shines a spotlight on our great towns and neighborhoods. For more info and to register, click HERE.

The event will be held Thursday, September 17 at The Hoosier Gym, 355 North Washington St., Knightstown, IN. The schedule for the night is:

6:55 p.m.: Welcome remarks
7 p.m.: Now Entering…Knightstown screening
7:30 p.m.: Filmmaker panel discussion and audience Q&A
8 p.m.: Event concludes

Walk the red carpet, snap a photo, and enjoy a community celebration as we premiere this locally-made documentary starring the residents, business owners, and historians of Knightstown.

After the screening, stay for a panel discussion featuring storytellers and community members who helped bring this project to life. Learn about the behind-the-scenes process and what makes Knightstown so special!

Step back inside the iconic Hoosier Gym—made famous by the Hollywood classic Hoosiers—and discover the deep history of the Academy building that once housed it. Journey down the Historic National Road to uncover the origins of Knightstown’s namesake, then dive into the rides, great eats, and local pride at the annual Knightstown Jubilee Days.

Plus, see how the community rallied together to save their historic Carnegie Public Library, and celebrate the hard work shaping this small town’s bright future.
