thumbnail_joeb-guitarWIPB will present “JOE BONAMASSA LIVE AT THE GREEK THEATRE” at 8 p.m. Nov. 28.

Joe Bonamassa delivers a tribute performance to Three Kings of Blues – Albert King, Freddie King, and B.B. King – at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Recorded in 2015, Bonamassa’s set list ranges from blues standards to deep cuts, including “Born Under A Bad Sign,” “Lonesome Whistle Blues,” “Hummingbird,” “Let The Good Times Roll,” and, of course, B.B. King’s famed “The Thrill Is Gone.”

Joining him on stage is an 11-piece band including Anton Fig (drums), Kirk Fletcher (guitar), Michael Rhodes (bass), Reese Wynans (piano, Hammond organ), Lee Thornburg (trumpet, horn arrangements), Paulie Cerra (saxophone), Ron Dziubla (saxophone), and a trio of backup singers including Mahalia Barnes, Jade MacRae, and Juanita Tippins.

Bonamassa’s career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989, when he was only 12 years old.  Today, he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation, and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter who has released 16 solo albums in the last 14 years, all on his own label, J&R Adventures.
