The year 2012 marked 12 Daytime Emmy Awards for PBS KIDS series, the 15th consecutive year that PBS earned more Daytime Emmy awards for its children’s programming than any other broadcast or cable network. PBS KIDS was also named Channel of the Year at the 2012 Kidscreen Awards.
According to Nielsen, in January 2013, PBS had six of the top 10 programs among mothers of young children, and five of the top 10 programs for kids age two to five.
PBSKIDS.org is ranked America’s No. 1 kids video site for total videos viewed. In addition, according to Google Analytics, more than 153 milion videos were delivered on the PBS KIDS Video for iPhone/iPad app in January 2013.
