Going to the doctor when you’re not feeling well seems like a straight forward concept. But what do you do when you’re a student, in the middle of the school day? School based health care comes in a variety of forms and provides a wide range of services and giving students access to these services at school puts them in a better position to learn. Dr. Syed is joined by Lisa Suttle, regional vice president of clinical services at Meridian Health Services; Andy Klotz, Chief Communications Officer at Muncie Community Schools; and Kathleen Livingston, Program Director for the Indiana Rural School’s Clinic Network to discuss the impact school based health care has on students and how these services are delivered.
